ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿರಿ ಇಟಲಿ ದೇಶದ ಒಟ್ಟು‌ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 7 ರಿಂದ 8 ಕೋಟಿ. ಇಟಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರೆದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ‌ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಿದ್ರೂ ಕೊರೊನಾ ವೈರಸ್ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸುವುದು ದೇಶದ ಕೈಮೀರಿ ಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಹೇಳ ತೀರದಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಚೈನಾ ನಂತರ ಕೊರೊನಾ ಅತೀ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೀಡು ಮಾಡಿರೋದು ಇಟಲಿಯನ್ನ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕಾರಣ ಕೊರೊನಾ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ. ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಇವತ್ತಿಗೂ ಕೊರೊನಾ ನಮ್ಮ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬರ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 30 ಬೆಡ್​​ಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಂದೊಂದು ವಾರ್ಡ್​​​ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಒಂದು ವಾರ್ಡ್​​ನ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕ (Incharge) ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಕೆಲವೇ ಗಂಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರ್ನಾಲ್ಕು‌ ಸಾವುಗಳಾಗ್ತಿವೆ. ಕೊರೊನಾದಿಂದ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟವರನ್ನ ಅವರ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರ ಮಾಡ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಅವರ ಅಂತಿಮ ವಿಧಿವಿಧಾನ ನೆರವೇರಿಸ್ತಿದೆ. ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟರನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಅವರ ರಕ್ತ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಗಳನ್ನ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಅವಕಾಶವಿಲ್ಲ. ದೂರದಿಂದ‌ ನಿಂತು‌ ಅವರ ಮುಖ ನೋಡಬಹುದು. ಕೆಲವರು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟವರ ಮುಖ‌‌ ಕೂಡ ನೋಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೆಲವರ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರು ಬೇರೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಇಟಲಿಗೆ ಬರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಸದ್ಯ ಇಟಲಿಯ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ನಗರಗಳು ಲಾಕ್ ಡೌನ್ ಆಗಿವೆ. ಹೊರಗಡೆ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಓಡಾಡುವಂತಿಲ...
